North American Meeting 2022
Choice Process Data Workshop
One day before the 2022 North American Economic Science Association (ESA) conference in Santa Barbara, CA (Thursday November 10), we will be hosting the fourth workshop on Choice-Process Data. The workshop will take place in person at the conference venue, the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort. Please note that the submission deadline is August 15.
What are choice-process data? Well, choice outcomes are not the only data generated from a decision. Decision makers move their eyes around to collect information, take time to consider their options, and use their hands to make a selection. With recent technological and methodological advances, process measures such as response times, eye tracking, and mouse tracking are becoming easily accessible. The question is what can we learn from them? This workshop aims to expose decision scientists to exciting new research that uses process data to shed light on fundamental questions.
This workshop is sponsored by the Neuroeconomics Laboratory at the Ohio State University (NSF funded). It is being organized by Ian Krajbich (The Ohio State University) and Charles Noussair (University of Arizona). Please contact Ian (email@example.com) with any questions.
We are excited to have the following keynote speakers (in alphabetical order):
We will also be accepting submitted talks for a single-track session (there are no parallel sessions in the workshop).
Registration is free for participants in the ESA Conference and will be available through the ESA registration page. Due to limited seating, registration will be capped at 100, so please register early! We have completely filled up in several of our previous iterations.
Papers can be submitted through the ESA submission system, with the same deadline as the main conference (August 15). Please make sure to select the option: "to be considered for the post-conference workshop on Choice-Process Data..." at the bottom of the submission page.
